Clarivein Treatment

At the British Varicose Vein Centre in St Johns Wood London,  we are proud to offer state of the art treatment for varicose veins.   The latest addition to the varicose vein portfolio is Clarivein treatment for varicose veins.  Clarivein can also treat the varicose veins which cause spider veins, thread veins or broken veins and the restless leg syndrome

The British Varicose Vein Centre has a pioneering and dedicated tradition in offering key hole treatment for varicose veins.  As a result of this specialization, patients enjoy a walk in and walk out office environment vein treatment so that a return to work or gym activities with minimal downtime is common.  All  varicose vein treatments can be performed under local anaesthetic.  Clarivein treatment for varicose veins is also performed under local anaesthetic.

Clarivein is a keyhole treatment for varicose veins in which the internal lining of the main feeding varicose vein is destroyed by a rotating wire.  Clarivein treatment is used in conjunction with a chemical agent.  Clarivein treatment  thus causes the varicose vein to stop working.  The varicose vein will then vanish over a short period. This is all achieved through a single pin hole.

The advantages of Clarivein treatment for varicose veins over other key hole varicose vein treatments such as  endovenous laser ablation for varicose veins or radiofrequency treatment for varicose veins is that it is quicker, minimal local anaesthetic is given and there is less bruising.  There is also no heating of the varicose vein.

Clarivein treatment for varicose veins is however a new treatment and so the long term data is not yet available.  Despite this, the early data is excellent in treating varicose veins.  Not all varicose vein treatment however will be suitable for Clarivein.  Clarivein treatment will therefore compliment existing varicose vein treatment.  The Vascular specialist will therefore guide you and advise you on best treatment for your specific vein needs so that the most appropriate varicose vein treatment can be given to you.
